Robert S. Lozano, a resident of Belen, NM, passed away on Saturday, February 13th, 2021. Bob enjoyed a life filled with love, laughter and joy. His passions included woodworking, metal detecting, machinery and problem solving. There was nothing Bob could not build or create; researching heavily with a near perfect end product. Bob delighted in the history of the Jornada del Muerto trail in which he sought after artifacts for 20 years. A proud Army Veteran, Bob served our country in the Vietnam War. He appreciated music as loud as the speakers would play, and that sometimes that was not enough. Bob loved spending time at Elephant Butte, camping, boating and jet skiing with family and friends. Bob was a mentor and appreciated every person, every moment and never took anything for granted.
Robert was proceeded in death by his mother, Aurora Lozano, sister, Lisa Lozano, father, Robert Lozano and son-in-law, Aaron M. White. He is survived by Joanne Trevino, sister, Ida Brannan, daughters, Renee Torres and Alicia White, son, Robert A. Lozano, son-in-law, Richard Torres and four grandchildren, Vanessa Torres, Amanda Torrez, Stephen Torres and Anthony Lozano.
