Philip Leon Archuleta

Philip (Phil) L. Archuleta a resident of Los Lunas, New Mexico, was called home by our Lord, on July 20, 2021, surrounded by his family. He was born on April 11, 1929, in Boise City, Oklahoma. Philip was a decorated U.S. Army, Korean War veteran and proud life member of VFW post 401. He was a retired machine repair technician. Philip was a devout catholic and member of San Clemente Catholic Church in Los Lunas, NM. He is preceded in death by his parents, Felipita and Marcos Archuleta; brothers, Patrick, Marcos and Louis; sisters, Gertrude Archuleta and Josephine Mercado. He is survived by his loving wife of 44 years, Roberta (Chavez) Archuleta; daughter, Patty and husband, John Shaw (Elizabeth, CO); sons Louie and wife, Josephine Archuleta (Los Lunas, NM) and Michael and wife, Leeanne Archuleta (Los Lunas, NM); grandchildren, Taylor and Brendan Archuleta; step grandchildren, Jacob and Garrett Shaw, great-grandchildren, Marella and Marcos Archuleta; sisters, Praxie Bunce (Chippewa Falls WI), Gloria Marez and husband, Raul (Hutto TX), Rosella Mills (San Bernadino CA) and Christina Castro and husband, Andy (Pueblo, CO); sister-in-law, Donna Archuleta (Albuquerque, NM) and numerous nieces and nephews. Services will be held on Monday, July 26, 2021 at San Clemente Catholic Church beginning with a rosary at 9:30 a.m. Inurnment will take place at Santa Fe National Cemetery on Friday, August 13, 2021 at 3:00 pm. The family asks that in lieu of flowers donations be sent to: The San Clemente Catholic Church building fund.
