Joe T. Sanchez passed away surrounded by the love of his family, leaving behind a legacy of strength, devotion, and deep compassion. He was a beloved husband to Patricia A. Sanchez-just shy of 60 years, a proud father to his son Joseph T. Sanchez, and his daughter Julie and her husband Cody McConnell, and daughter Rosella and her husband Lee Sanchez. As a brother he is survived by his two younger siblings, Ben Sanchez and Frank Sanchez. He was also a very proud uncle! He adored all of his nieces and nephews.
Joe was a man who truly lived life. He had a deep love for music, motorcycles, cars, dancing, bowling with his friends, and the thrill of adventure. Whether traveling, being in the senior Olympics, racing, or simply enjoying time with loved ones, he embraced every moment with passion and joy. He was incredibly talented and wise, someone who could build, fix, and create with his hands, always finding a way to make things work and teaching others along the way.
Joe was a man who found his greatest joy in his family. He was blessed with nine grandchildren and their their spouses: Alyssia and Louie, Patrick and Starr, Julisa and Eric, JW and RayAnna, Dakota-Lynn, Aaron and Daniela, Owen and Mariah, Hunter and Makayla, and Jolynn and Adrian—each of whom brought him immense pride and happiness. His legacy continues through his cherished great-grandchildren: Gaige, Connor, Abilene, Chase, Bailey, Elena, Paisley, Paige, Greyson, and Celeste.
Joe lived a life rooted in love, faith, and gratitude. He knew how truly blessed he was to be surrounded by such a strong and caring family, and he carried that knowledge with humility and joy. His presence was a steady source of comfort, his words were filled with wisdom, and his heart was always open.
Though he will be deeply missed, his love remains in each of us, guiding and blessing our lives. May we carry forward his spirit of unity, kindness, and unwavering devotion to Christ and family.
Private services for Joseph will take place at a later date.
