James Daniel Morrison, Sr.

1937-2023
James D. Morrison Sr., age 85, a resident of, Los Lunas, NM passed away on Monday, January 23, 2023. Jim was a chosen child of God and was a member of the United States Navy from September 28, 1954 and honorably discharged September 1, 1962. During his service in the Navy he completed courses in Aviation Electricians Mate volume 1 and volume 2. He was then and to his passing extremely proud of his service to our country and the United States Navy. Jim enjoyed accounting and this was his profession until he retired. He was a beloved father, husband and grandfather. Jim was preceded in death by wife, Marilyn G. Morrison; father, William H. Morrison; mother, Alice Morrison; grandson, Nathan C. Morrison; aunt Linda Ahlich; cousins, Peter, Ray, and Jimmy Ahlich; and uncles, Faustine and Fernando Garcia. He is survived by his sons, Phillip Morrison, and Danny Morrison and wife, Ida A. Morrison; grandchildren, Charlene, Crystal, Amanda, and James Morrison III; and great grandchildren, Abrianna, Avery, Jenea, and Dante Morrison. Jim is also survived by his step grandchildren, Ray, J.J. and Wallace. A memorial service will be held at Noblin Funeral Service Belen Chapel Friday, February 3, 2023 beginning at 10:00 a.m. Arrangements are being handled by the caring professionals at the Noblin Funeral Service Belen Chapel, 418 W.
