Eloisa Silva Obituary
Eloisa J. Silva, 88, passed away on Monday, April 6, 2026 in Socorro, NM. She was born in Socorro, NM on November 1, 1937 to Pablo and Rafaelita Castillo. Eloisa was a strong woman who loved her family and friends. She was very dedicated to praying the Rosary every day and she loved to dance and play keno. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
She was preceded in death by her son, Anthony Silva; brothers, Rodger Castillo, Napolion Castillo, Albert Castillo, and Joe Castillo; sister, Mary Deshong; and her parents. Eloisa is survived by sons, Mark (Diane) Silva, and Chris Silva; daughters, Andrea (James) Peralta, Bernadette (Geir) Hareland; brother, Paul Lee (Barbara) Castillo; Sisters, Toni Nordquist and Luggy Shorter; grandchildren, Shane Silva, Gabe Silva, Anthony Silva Jr., James Peralta Jr., Geir Hareland Jr., and Katrine Hareland; great grandchildren, Aiden Silva and Luna, Rae, Laura Silva; along with many nieces and nephews.
Services for Eloisa will take place at San Miguel Catholic Church in Socorro, NM on Friday, May 15, 2026. The rosary at 11:30a.m., and the funeral mass at 12:00p.m.
