Dustin Aaron Armijo

It is with great sadness that the family of Dustin "Ducky" Aaron Armijo announce his sudden passing on Thursday, May 28th 2026, at the age of 26, in Socorro, NM. He was born in Albuquerque, NM on July 13th, 1999. He graduated from Socorro High School and was an avid Hunter, Fisherman, and Guide as well as a baseball player and golfer.

Dustin is survived by his son Hunter Armijo, his parents John A. Armijo III and Helena (Fratello) Armijo, grandmother Rucila "Shella" Armijo, sister Alisa Gonzales and family, sister Sherree and Ronnie Sanchez and family, brother Raymond and Tiffany Torres and family. As well as many Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, and Close Friends.

Dustin is predeceased by his Grandfather John "Johnny" A. Armijo II, Grandmother Frances "Fran" Fratello, Grandfather Edward Fratello, Nephew Isaac Matthew Gonzales, Cousin Kameilia G. Chavez, Cousin Nicolas Chavez, and Cousin Richard Dibartolomio.

Dustin had the kindest heart and known for his storytelling skills that would always make you laugh. He was the most respectful person you would come across that would always greet you with a firm handshake or a tight hug and a tip of his hat. He never met a stranger and was a best friend to all that came into his life.

Services for Dustin will take place on Thursday, June 11, 2026. A rosary will be held at San Miguel Catholic Church at 10:30 am, followed by a graveside service at 11:00 am at the San Acacia Cemetery. Following the graveside service there will be a celebration of life at the DAV building in Socorro, 200 5th St, Socorro, NM 87801. Pallbearers will be Ronnie Sanchez, Leo Archuleta, Raymond Torres, Shania Mishoe, CJ Barella, and Matthew Jojola. Honorary Pallbearers are Amanda Torres, Jordan Torres, Troy Torres, Knight Torres, Nathaniel Gonzales, and Caleb Gonzales.
