Debbie Camacho

Debbie J Camacho Ames age, 58. A resident of: Valencia County, passed away on: Monday May 22, 2023.

Debbie was born in Albuquerque New Mexico in 1964. She attended West Mesa High School and graduated in 1982. She furthered her education by attending DeWolff's Beauty School and that's where she started her forever career and followed her passion to make people feel beautiful. She had her first child Lynnea Lopez on March 7, 1985, and she didn't stop there, she had her twins Jessica and Jesse Camacho on March 3, 1994. After having the twins, she decided to take her family to Grand Junction Colorado for a short period of time. In 1995, she made her way back to Los Lunas, NM and continued being a "magician" as she called it, because she said she performed magic on people's hair. She took her first big step in her career and opened her first beauty shop A Look of Elegance in early 2007. As the years continued, she became a grandma and a great grandma. She had a love for crocheting, crafting, and an enormous love for movie popcorn and sonic ice. Debbie brought light into every room she walked into, she was a loving and caring daughter, sister, auntie, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother.

Preceded in Death by: Parents Bobby (Bob) Ames, Mary Ames, Niece Celina Ann, Best friends Hope Romo and Rebecca Chavez

She is survived by: Siblings Sara Ames Candelaria (Husband Laurence), Eric Ames, Children Jesse McCormack (Husband Edward), Jessica Camacho and Lynnea Lopez. Grandkids Andrew, Susana, and Joziah Alfero, Jessanea Lopez, Laila and Zia Burson, and Great Grandson Matteo Alfero along with many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
